There is no single price per kilogram for all e-waste. Keep reusable equipment separate from scrap, identify each component type and compare quotes for the same grade. Your final return depends on the accepted weight, agreed rate and any collection or processing charges.

Compare the amount you receive after deductions. A higher headline rate offers little benefit if the buyer applies a lower grade or adds collection, handling and data destruction charges.

Confirm the buyer's preparation rules before dismantling equipment. Keep batteries separate from loose boards and do not cut contacts or remove components solely to chase a higher price category.

Identify HDDs and SSDs separately. They use different storage technology and should not share an assumed scrap grade. A price for a removed HDD circuit board is also different from a price for the complete drive.
Before handing over storage devices, agree the required erasure or destruction service, evidence of completion and associated charge. Include those costs when comparing your net return.

Request a reuse valuation first. Give the buyer model numbers, quantities and test results. Compare the offer against the net scrap return before choosing a route.
Package materials, component density, contacts and attached metalwork differ between grades. An upper-end figure for a specialist category does not represent an ordinary mixed load.
